Front side path

This is a pic of the front side path with the great side gate and fence Jim buildt. The plants are starting to grow now just waiting for the trees to grow on the side fence.

Night photos

Night photos

Water feature by night and the water fall and pond with one of my favourite plants boganvilla (which I cannot spell) I have planted them all around our yard on every fence.

The front of the house by night a bit fuzzy.

Before and After Updates March

Water feature finished just some plants which I got today, decking leading to water feature finished and I must say Jimmy did a fantastic job all the screws were straight, so I let him do the next deck which is a little small then the first this deck is 5x3.5 and the door you are looking at is our ensuite and the other side is the dinning room door.
Now the last side of the house garden happening this area is about 20m long x 4 to 5m wide, well no grass again, this photo is looking from the water feature deck towards the front of the house you can see the other deck. Now for something interesting.

Before and After Updates March

Here is Jim hard at it again with those great knee pads. Jim is extending the decking from the alfressco area and he does a fantastic job for his first atempt, I did say if it is not perfect then he can get it perfect on the next deck.

Before and After Updates March

Here is some more photos after the paving is finished and the BQ area done, also have hidden water tank.

Before and After Updates March

Sorry about the clare in the photo, well it was quite simple, cement sheeting, painting was the hard part, I used the ruff paint hard to get even, then Jim's hard part putting the stone up, we did do it on the cheap, Jim got an old tank from work, and he trimed the side of the stone wall with stainless steel striping and the water comes from under the timber strip across the top, Jim put an electrical tubing across and drilled holes in it for the water to run out and down over the stone and ofcoarse we have a pump to pump the water up. The purple does not look as bright now but I picked purple (not just because it is my favorite colour) but because I have planted Mosses cradle plants and they are purple and green.

Before and After Updates March

Well I have worked it out, you will have to scroll down to see the before photos . Sorry the dates are all out.
Some more hard work from Jim my other half, more retaining walls, in our lovely clay ground poor Jim all that hard digging. Then the other end is the beginning of our BQ area and wall for the water feature, this is all in the backyard. The concreted area is were the paving is going which we are paying someone a lot of money to do. This was last November and ofcoarse I wanted it all finished before Christmas for our big family get together. I must say that Jim does have a day job and so do I so all this work is being done after work and weekends and Jim has never built any of these strutures before so he is a little nervous about the water feature and also all the decking he has to do.

UPDATING FEB 2008

It has been such a long time for me to update our blog, we have been very busy and lots of trouble getting online now all ok. Since our move in late July a lot has happened around the house so I will quickly try and catch everyone up. Overall we are very happy with our Pro Struct House and we just love having such great neighbours. So I will first take you back a bit to show how the house was completed and how it has all come together. I have been keeping up with homeone and it is amazing all the Blogs.
